AbraPlata Resource Corp. (TSXV:ABRA) is a mineral exploration company focusing on unlocking mineral value in Argentina. The company has
acquired a portfolio of gold, silver and copper assets with a focus on its flagship Diablillos property, which has an existing indicated resource of
81.1M oz Ag and 755,000 oz Au. The company also owns the Cerro Amarillo property, which hosts five clustered Cu porphyry intrusions and is located
in the same mining camp that hosts El Teniente, Los Bronces and Los Pelambres. The company’s PEA for the Diablillos project is excepted before year-end.
Anaconda Mining Inc. (TSX:ANX) is a small-scale gold producer operating the Point Rousse project in Newfoundland, with a late-stage development
project, Goldboro in Newfoundland. Both the Point Rouse and Goldboro projects have the potential for meaningful resource growth. Ongoing exploration
efforts, along with a pending PEA on Goldboro are expected to be important near-term catalysts.
Aquila Resources Inc. (TSX:AQA) is focused on developing its Back Forty zinc and gold VMS deposit in Michigan. The company has obtained
3 of 4 key permits required to undertake construction of the planned open pit mine, the last being for the Wetlands Protection Permit issued by the
state. A Feasibility Study for the open pit mine is underway, and is expected to be completed in H2 2017. After construction, the transition into underground
mining is being evaluated as a possible amendment, including a PFS specifically for the underground mine. A 4,600m infill and step-out drill program
is currently underway and the company has released encouraging results for a growing resource base at their Back Forty project.
Aurania Resources Ltd. (TSXV:ARU) is an exploration stage company focused on the ~2,080 sq. km Lost Cities – Cutucu project in southeastern
Ecuador. Historic Spanish literature suggests the Cordillera de Cutucu as the likely location of Sevilla del Oro and Logro ño de los Caballeros, two
famous gold mining areas from the 16th and 17th centuries that have since been lost. The company completed a C$6.4 million financing in April in order
to finance early exploration activities including geophysics in Q3 2017 and the company is expecting to drill their initial targets in 2018.
AuRico Metals Inc. (TSX:AMI) is the unique combination of a precious metals royalty company and a late-stage development company with
royalties in stable jurisdictions (Canada and Australia), reporting royalty revenues of US$8.1 million in 2016. AuRico wholly owns the advanced Kemess
gold-silver-copper project in British Columbia. One of the project's key value drivers is its existing infrastructure valued at ~C$1bn, including a
25k tpd mill in good condition.
Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (Liberty Silver Corp.) (CSE:LSL) has recently signed a definitive agreement for the lease and option to purchase
the historic zinc-lead-silver Bunker Hill mine in Idaho from the current owner, Placer Mining Corporation. The company plans to bring this past-producing
mine, which operated for 94 years, until 1981, into production. Bunker Hill is one of the largest undeveloped zinc resource in the America’s with a
historic resource of over 60Mt.
First Cobalt Corp. (TSXV:FCC) is an exploration stage cobalt company that recently announced two mergers that should result in the company
becoming the largest landholder in the historic Cobalt Camp. The mergers are expected to close later this year and the company has a 9,000m drill program
underway around the Keeley-Frontier silver-cobalt mine.
GoldQuest Mining Corp. (TSXV:GQC) is an exploration and development company with projects in the Tireo gold-copper belt in the in the
Dominican Republic. Currently, the company is advancing its 2.5M oz AuEq (23.3 Mt at 3.35 g/t AuEq) Romero project towards production, with permitting
underway. The company released a PFS for the project in Q3 2016 and is expecting a FS in 2017. The company is also exploring its district-scale land
package discovering the Cachimbo deposit earlier this year.
Gowest Gold Ltd. (TSXV:GWA) is a development-stage gold company which has started underground development on the Bradshaw deposit, at
its North Timmins Gold project. The project is located 32 km from Timmins and covers 109 square kilometres in the Timmins Gold Camp. In 2015, the company
released results of a PFS for their Bradshaw Gold deposit with an after-tax NPV5% of US$29.2M with an IRR of 27%. The company is currently advancing
underground development to complete an initial bulk sample, ahead of full-scale production.
Marlin Gold Mining Ltd. (TSXV:MLN) owns properties in Mexico and Arizona, including a royalty on Golden Reign's (TSXV:GRR) San Albino
project through its wholly owned subsidiary Sailfish Royalty Corp. Marlin has transitioned into a stage of free cash flow from operations at its La
Trinidad gold mine in Mexico. Cash flow has been used to fund exploration activities at the company's La Trinidad mine and Commonwealth project (Arizona),
as well as to aid in the spin-off of its royalty subsidiary in Q4 2017.
Metanor Resources Inc. (TSXV:MTO) owns the producing Bachelor gold mine northeast of Val d’Or, Quebec, producing ~35k oz Au per year.
In addition, the company owns exploration properties in Quebec and Ontario, including the Barry gold project located in the Urban-Barry district. After
recent management changes, retiring its debt and renegotiating its gold stream, the company has accelerated exploration at Bachelor to extend mine-life
and is working towards moving the Barry project into advanced exploration with initial underground development.
Monarques Gold Corp. (TSXV:MQR) is an emerging gold producer in Canada through the recently completed acquisition of the Beaufor Mine
and Camflo Mill, along with the other Quebec assets of Richmont Mines Inc (TSX:RIC). As well, the company holds ~200km² of gold exploration properties
along the Cadillac Break, which includes its flagship project, the Croinor Gold property. Last year, Monarques acquired the fully-permitted 750 tpd
Beacon Mill, which is ~60km from Croinor and in the vicinity of the company's other properties, Simkar and Regcourt.
Northern Empire Resources Corp. (TSXV:NM) is a gold exploration company focused on the Sterling project in Nevada. Sterling was a
high-grade underground heap leach mine that ceased operations in 2015 and now hosts an inferred open-pit resource of 709,000 oz at 2.23 g/t Au. The
Sterling project is permitted for the next phase of open pit mining and the company has been actively exploring the property since September 2017.
Osisko Metals Inc. (TSX:OM) is a mineral exploration and development company focused on base metals in Canada. Major shareholders of the
company include Osisko Gold Royalties (TSX/NYSE:OR) and Osisko Mining (TSX:OSK). The company owns the largest land package in the prolific Bathurst
Mining Camp, which is the third largest VMS camp in the world. The land package is rich with historic data that the company is looking to consolidate,
validate and convert to a NI 43-101 compliant resource. The company has also identified twelve zinc targets in their Quebec GenEx portfolio that show
Red Pine Exploration Inc. (TSXV:RPX) is a gold focused exploration company and the operator of the Wawa gold project in Ontario. Following
the acquisition of Augustine Ventures in Q1 2017, Red Pine increased its ownership interest in the project to 60% from 30%. The other 40% is held by
Citabar LLP under an option/joint venture agreement. The project currently hosts an inferred resource of 1.088M oz at 1.71 g/t Au and has an active
exploration program that has the potential to materially expand the current resource.
Tinka Resources Ltd. (TSXV:TK) is a mineral exploration company focused on its high-grade Ayawilca zinc project in Peru. The company commenced
a step-out drill program in February 2017 and has since made a discovery on the property with 62.4 m grading 5.6% zinc in March. The discovery on South
Ayawilca is expected to add significant tonnes to the company’s existing inferred resource of 18.8 Mt of 8.2% ZnEq. This resource update is expected
in November 2017.
Victoria Gold Corp. (TSXV:VIT) is a development stage gold company, that has started construction on its 4.4M oz Au Eagle Gold Project
in the Yukon. The project is expected to produce ~200k ounces of gold annually at operating costs below US$600/oz over a 10-year mine life. This fall
the company started construction with preliminary earthworks and a camp expansion, in anticipation of full-scale construction starting in 2018, pending
financing. The company is also actively exploring their Dublin Gulch property, having recently identified the Catto Zone through their 2017 drill program.
White Gold Corp. (TSXV:WGO) is a mineral exploration company with assets located in the White Gold District of the Yukon. White Gold has
acquired 19,438 quartz claims totalling 390,000 hectares, which corresponds to approximately 40% of the district. Properties in the area have experienced
significant investment from senior gold producers including Kinross, Goldcorp, Newmont, Barrick and Agnico Eagle. The company already has a historic
resource of 1 million gold ounces and a large land package with significant potential for further discoveries.
